Objectives Students in this course should further develop, based on their first semester work in KOR4210/KOR5210, the ability in speaking and listening to satisfy all every day social situations, such as narrating personal experiences, inquiring about or expressing knowledge and opinions, and making arrangements. In reading, they will be able to extract information from advertisements and read slightly simplified texts from magazines and newspapers. In writing, they should arrive at the level in which they can write diaries of half a page without difficulty. They should show understanding of Korea-specific cultural and social aspects.
