Objectives As for JIT4200 with the additional objective that students should have gained the ability to translate set texts from English into Japanese well enough to be published.

Synopsis As for JIT4200.

Assessment Weekly exercises: 30%
* Mid-semester test (translation of text of approx. 1000 words within a set time limit): 20%
* End-of-semester test (translation of a long set text): 50%
* Fifth-year students will be expected to consistently show a higher degree of expertise.
