Objectives As for HYM4910, with the additional objective that students should gain skills in applying techniques of critical interpretation to different textual traditions.

Synopsis As for HYM4910. In their essay and extra assignment, students taking the subject at fifth-year level are expected to demonstrate a wider range of secondary reading.

Assessment (8 points) Essay (4000 words): 50%

* Extra assignment (3000 words): 30%
