Objectives The objective of the environmental internship is to give the student experience of involvement in a project which is of direct benefit to the environmental `movement' generally outside of Monash University. On completion of the internship, the student should have formulated the aim and coherent objectives of an Internship, specified the particular methodology to be followed in completing the internship, and prepared a previously agreed output, which should include both the specific analyses that are the subject of the Internship and some analysis of the overall context of this subject matter.
Synopsis Under supervision of a member of GSES staff the candidate will undertake analytical work which will be of direct benefit to some organisation outside Monash University (government department, or non-government organisation). In special circumstances an internship may be permitted to cover additional work flowing from the projects in ENV8270, ENV8140 or ENV8210. A candidate may undertake only one internship.
