Objectives As for CLS3870 but with the additional objective that students should have gained the confidence to present effective accounts of critical theorists verbally.
Synopsis As for CLS3870 (See Arts undergraduate handbook for this subject)
Assessment As for CLS3870 but students doing CLS4870 will be given topics that demand a substantial additional degree of sophistication in reading and argument, a wide range of reference, and a deeper engagement with the complexities of the subject, in addition to a greater word length, and will take part in individual consultations in which their ability to present effective accounts of critical theorists will be monitored.
