Objectives On the successful completion of the subject, students should use skillful art direction and appropriate creative and effective problem-solving strategies; work confidently within the constraints of a specific brief with due regard to time, cost and production considerations; demonstrate competence in computer skills, visualising, art preparation and professional presentation of design solutions.

Synopsis A series of projects requires research and application of material across a broad subject range including expressive typography, logo and corporate identity design, brochure design, posters, calendars, self-promotion, editorial layout, packaging, visualising and finished art.
