Objectives On successful completion of this subject, students should be able to undertake a business plan for a proposed new product or service; identify the issues and data that must be collected for the development of business plans; undertake sensitivity analyses.

Synopsis This subject covers the objectives and structure of business plans, identification of issues, data collection areas, capital and recurrent costs, profit margins, pricing scenarios, sensitivity analyses. Application of business plans to several diverse products or services. These issues are examined through case study analysis.
