Objectives On successful completion of this subject,
students should be able to produce finished presentation visuals
to a competent level, using a variety of media; confidently engage in drawing
as a method of externalising thoughts and developing ideas clinching
inspiration; skillfully use drawing for persuasion and communication in a
product design context; use appropriate illustrations and renderings to support
studio project work.
Synopsis This subject builds on the skills and knowledge of IDE2601. It covers an advanced practice of combining techniques and media, as well as experimental methods; introduction to framing of the subject; selection of the most appropriate view; combination of views; development of background treatment; composition of pictorial settings for products.
