Objectives On successful completion of this subject, students should understand the range of two and three-dimensional written media available for communicating the construction and technical concepts and details of interior architecture projects, and their interrelation; be familiar with the conventions for technical and constructional drawings and be able to undertake technical and constructional drawings to a professional standard; be able to draft a project briefing document; be able to draft a basic specification.

Synopsis This subject supports the major studio practice and instructs students in necessary additional skills. Lectures cover the range of media while demonstrations and exercises develop capabilities in technical and constructional drawing and specification and briefing document drafting.

Assessment Major projects: 90%
* Verbal and written presentations: 10%
