Objectives On successful completion of this program, students are expected to have developed the means by which to achieve high levels of artistic competence not normally reached during undergraduate programs; attitudes toward their disciplines which promote understanding of the artistic context of their practice; understanding of the process of formulating, planning and conducting research programs relevant to their practice and discipline, by individal research proposals and by carrying them through with appropriate critical and analytical skills.
Synopsis To qualify for the honours degree, a student shall complete a body of work in one of the major areas in fine art and produce an illustrated written document that supports and/or records the program carried out during the course.
