Objectives On successful completion of this subject, students should have demonstrated professional skills in drawing, a judicious sense for the aesthetic, communicative or perceptual potential of drawing; (i) a critical view of the role of drawing within the crafts, (ii) a method for effectively and purposefully representing objects and spaces already in existence and (iii) as a work of art in its own right.
Synopsis Through projects agreed to by the student and supervisor, the focus will be the enhancement of quality of drawing skills and the critical awareness of concepts and methods, especially in relation to the student's chosen medium.
