Objectives On successful completion of this subject students should be able to use drawing as a means to gain inspiration from their environment and to develop design for their chosen media; demonstrate competence with a broad range of drawing materials and techniques; show evidence of personal development and direction in their work.

Synopsis This subject will enable students to find solutions to specific visual/functional and aesthetic problems and help them develop their knowledge of materials, media and methods. Students will be encouraged to greater experimentation to discover a range most suited to their individual needs. Students will continue to develop their creativity, self expression, individuality and sense of aesthetic judgment and to establish their own educational goals.
