Child care and family services

Although Monash students and staff have access to the facilities outlined below, the demand for child care at the Monash-linked creches often exceeds the number of child care places available. A number of different child care options are available to students and staff. The Child Care and Family Services Department is available on the Clayton, Caulfield and Peninsula campuses, and is the first point of contact for students and staff seeking child care or wishing to discuss any aspect of child or family welfare. The services provided include a counselling and advisory service, acting as a central source of information on all child care facilities available and their suitability for parents and children's needs, monitoring of each service's ability to meet demand, and the corresponding promotion of new services according to need.
