Objectives As for ZOO2031.
Synopsis This subject examines the relationships between the descriptive and functional morphology of invertebrate and vertebrate animals and how these structures are used by animals for their survival. There is particular emphasis on relating the morphology with the physiology, behaviour and ecology of the animal and on the mutual relationships that exist between these levels or organisation during different stages in the life of an animal, as well as during evolutionary time.
Assessment Written (2000 words): 15% * Practical and theory examinations: 85%
