Objectives The student is expected to acquire knowledge about the connectionist paradigm of computation embodied in the topic of neural computing through exposure to the biological, algorithmic, control application and VLSI/photonic implementation aspects of the subject.
Synopsis Biological neurons, computational artificial models, control applications, VLSI and photonic implementations.
