Objectives The student is expected to aquire a basic knowledge and understanding of quantity surveying.
Synopsis Introduction to quantity surveying, fundamentals of quantity surveying for use in demolition, refurbishment, quotes and estimation. Preparation of bill of quantities for civil engineering and building works.
Assessment Examination (3 hours): 70% * Tutorials: 10% * Practical work: 20%
