This degree by coursework and minor thesis extends on (and requires prior completion of) the Graduate Diploma of Logistics Management. Logistics management is the planning, coordinating and controlling of resources and information involved in the flow of goods from resource to final customer. The aim of the course is to provide students with an intellectually demanding and advanced understanding of logistics management concepts and to improve substantially the logistical and general managerial expertise of participants in their work life.
On completion of the course students should:
Applicants need to have completed, with an average grade of credit or above, either an honours degree in the discipline, or the Graduate Diploma in Logistics Management, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution.
The Master of Business (Logistics Management) is normally completed in two semesters of full-time study or four semesters of part-time study.
Core subjects are offered on a one week residential block basis at Peninsula campus. Other subjects may be taken at other campuses with the approval of the course director.
No credit for work done previously is available in this masters degree.
