Objectives Students will gain an understanding of the need for and methods of strategic planning, analysis and implementation in financial institutions. A sound understanding of strategic management tools, processes and issues will be developed enabling students to refine their own thinking on these issues within the context of both the global business environment and the financial services industry.
Synopsis Topics include general issues of business strategy; strategic thinking and analysis with emphasis on the financial services industry; strategy issues relating to the global business environment.
Assessment Assignments (6000 words): 50%
