Objectives On completion of this subject students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the differences between domestic and international HRM, have the ability to identify possible linkages between international HRM and business strategy and analyse international HRM functions and processes in various international settings.

Synopsis International human resource management looks at the personnel function of international business. Based on the premise that people are assets of an organisation, this subject evaluates the difficulties of managing an international workforce, particularly the similarities and differences between domestic HRM and HRM on a global scale.

Assessment Written (2500 words and 4000 words): 60%
* Examination (2 hours): 40%
