Objectives On completion of this subject students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the role key organisations play in the international arena, apply a comparative framework to specify countries to identify key differences in industrial relations issues, evaluate international differences in industrial relations from a strategic management perspective and demonstrate an understanding of the role employee relations plays in organisational productivity.
Synopsis International industrial and employee relations aims to provide students with a frame of reference from which they can evaluate the different systems of international industrial relations and international employee relations as compared to Australia and as a result are able to develop an industrial relations strategy mix.
