Objectives Students successfully completing this subject should be able to express opinions and conjecture; report the words of others; use vocabulary and expressions relevant to renting an apartment; describe physical symptoms; participate in polite conversation with Japanese business people; read graphs and statistics written in Japanese and recognise an additional 170 kanji (in total 470).
Synopsis This subject aims to consolidate and further develop students' knowledge of Japanese, gained in JBL1030, in order to achieve lower intermediate competence in spoken and written Japanese. An off-campus option is available (JPL1260).
