On the recommendation of the head of department or director of the centre concerned and with the approval of the Committee for Graduate Studies, the faculty may grant an exemption without credit from a core subject for work previously undertaken at Monash University or another tertiary institution.
Students granted an exemption without credit do not receive credit points towards their enrolled degree or diploma, therefore, they are required to satisfactorily complete the maximum number of credit points for the specified award.
