Masters and graduate diploma candidates who allow their candidature to lapse or who withdraw may not be re-admitted within two years of the deemed date of non-re-enrolment, unless they have withdrawn in `good standing'. The recommendation for withdrawal in `good standing' would originate from the department or centre where the candidate is undertaking his/her program and must be submitted to the Committee for Graduate Studies for approval. If approved, such a former candidate may be re-admitted to candidature after a period of time determined by the Committee for Graduate Studies.
