Study abroad program

A Kenwood

8 points + 1 hour per week + Summer semester + Clayton/A one month intensive course in Madrid + Corequisites: SPN2210 or SPN2170 + Prohibitions: This subject may not be counted as part of a minor sequence in Spanish

Synopsis During the semester preceding the intensive course students will prepare for their period in Spain in weekly tutorials using audiovisual materials and selected readings. In Madrid students will attend four hours of intensive language instruction and practice daily and additional lectures on appropriate cultural topics. Excursions will be arranged to places of historical and cultural interest.

Assessment Written (2000 words): 20% + Examinations (3 hours): 40% + Regular class assignments in Madrid: 40%
