Synopsis (1) Language: Advanced study, through literary and official texts, of the stylistics of contemporary Polish political, economic and cultural discourses. Advanced translation and theory of translation. (2) Literature and society: Contemporary Polish drama, fiction and film in the context of (East) European postmodernism.

Assessment Language: Test (1 hour): 30% + Written work: 20% + Literature and society: Essay (3000 words): 30% + Tutorial paper (1500 words): 20%
