Please note, a student may undertake an empirical study involving `human subjects', only if (a) approval has been obtained from the Standing Committee on Ethics in Research on Humans for the project prior to its commencement; and (b) a staff member has agreed to supervise the project prior to its commencement. If these conditions have not been met, students enrolled in this subject may proceed with the subject as a library dissertation or as a project which does not involve `human subjects'.
