Advanced experimental psychology II

12 points + Four 1-hour lectures and one 6-hour laboratory per week + Second semester + Clayton + Prerequisites: PSY3011 + Prohibitions: PSY3042

Synopsis The subject aims to provide advanced training in a broad range of areas of experimental psychology both for students who wish to obtain an accredited major in psychology and proceed to honours and graduate study, and for students wishing to study the subject at this level for other reasons. The subject comprises a core unit on psychological measurement, together with optional units. The optional units comprise `Human neuropsychology', `Personality and pathology', Circadian rhythms', and `Cognitive neuroscience'. In addition to the core lecture series, students will be required to complete two optional units as lecture-plus-laboratory units and one optional unit as a lecture-only unit.

Assessment Written: 50% + Examinations: 50%
