Synopsis This subject is intended for students who wish to take a second philosophy subject in second semester. Thus students enrolled in PHL1040 will normally also be enrolled in either PHL1020 or PHL1060. Students select any two of the following (provided they have not been chosen as components for PHL1020 or PHL1060): (i) `Metaphysics', (ii) `God, freedom and evil', (iii) `Morality and objectivity', and (iv) `Introduction to logic'.
Assessment Written (1200 words) + Examinations (2 hours): 50% + Further 1200 words or 4 logic exercises
