Ethnographic dance studies

Synopsis Theories of dance in culture and dance research methods are
critically examined on the basis of the ethnographic, ethnochoreological and
ethnomusicological literature, underpinned by project work based in part on
lecture demonstrations by specialist Asian dancers.
Assessment Written (2500 words): 40% + Examinations (3 hours): 45% +
