Synopsis An introduction to Australian Aboriginal languages covering
features of phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics and sociolinguistic issues
including language status, bilingualism and the role of linguistics in language
maintenance and revival.
Assessment Written assignments (3000 words): 50% + Class test: (1 hour):
10% + Class exercises and participation: 40%
