Synopsis The focus of this subject will be on twentieth-century approaches, including semiotics, theatre anthropology, feminist theory and methods of performance analysis. It will be taught by a number of members of the staff of the centre, and will involve the study of theoretical texts as outlined in the subject material available from the centre.
Assessment Essay (5000 words): 50% + Essay (2000 words) 25% + Seminar paper and participation: 25%
