Systems security and privacy

technology subjects
Synopsis This subject aims to provide students with a grounding in
current practice for securing computer systems and open networks, and to
provide students with an understanding of the legal responsibilities of
organisations that maintain databases of personal information. The syllabus
includes securing computer systems; privacy in Australia; securing open
systems.
Assessment Examination (2 hours): 70% + Assignment work: 30%
