This course is designed for students with a degree in a field other than accounting who wish to meet the academic requirements for admission as an associate member of both CPA Australia and the Institute of Public Accountants or entry to the Chartered Accountants Program of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Upon successful completion of this course it is expected that graduates will:

Students who successfully complete the Graduate Diploma in Accounting may be eligible for admission to course 0790 Master of Professional Accounting or 0826 Master of Professional Accounting (Advanced) subject to satisfying the appropriate entry requirements. Students wishing to exit the Graduate Diploma in Accounting early may apply to graduate with the Graduate Certificate in Business after successful completion of 24 points of study.
