SynopsisThe 12 credit point Honours Thesis subject extends research opportunities provided to students in the BPT(Hons) program by providing individualised and group supervision in developing a comprehensive research report (10,000-12,000 words). Students will have opportunities to advance their understanding of data analysis methods required to interpret data collected during the course of the research, prepare and present their findings to staff and students and refine a report for assessment. The thesis will contribute 70% to the final honours grade. Objectives

Assessment
Hurdle requirement - Professioanl conduct: Students are required to demonstrate professional behaviour in communication (written or verbal) with department staff and clinical educators in order to pass the unit. Chief examiner(s)Contact hoursStudents are required to attend fortnightly research seminars during Semesters One and Two when they are not on clinical placements. This subject runs for 12 weeks in each Semester (total 24 weeks). PrerequisitesCo-requisitesAvailable to students enrolled in the Honours Degree of Bachelor of Physiotherapy.
