SynopsisThis unit is designed to provide students with an overview of professional issues that relate to the practice of medical radiations. Topics include theories related to health psychology and how disease and injury affect patients and their carers; the effects of working in a health care environment on practitioners; medico-legal and ethical issues; communication, cultural competence and working with patients with special needs; reflective practice and professional portfolio development.
