SynopsisThe socio-cultural/historical concepts of learning and development of children aged from birth to 12 years, including medical concepts of disability and special additional needs, will be explored. The policy and practical implications of learning and inclusion for teaching will feature, with particular emphasis on good practice and strategies that may be introduced to assist children and their families from varying cultural backgrounds.
