SynopsisThe unit provides students with the opportunity to apply and assess appropriate educational applications of technology across the secondary school curriculum. A particular focal point addresses the use of technologies in order to represent understandings, conceptualise and manage ideas. A second focus of the unit is to engage critically with the impacts of technology in society and education in ways that can impact the broader school curriculum. Students will gain familiarity with the information resources and facilities available to teachers, and gain experience with the different ways in which information technology can be structured in schools.
