This unit allows flexibility to explore various directions in the discipline in a more formal setting that is guided by staff expertise.

The learning goals associated with this unit are to:

develop an understanding of key academic literature in a particular area of economics
develop the capacity to engage in critical thinking and analysis
demonstrate knowledge and understanding in the area of their chosen research project.

Continuous assessment and a three-hour examination or equivalent.
