SynopsisThis unit studies recent economic developments of selected Asian countries. Topics include: theories of economic growth; economic freedom and economic development; entrepreneurship and economic transformation in Hong Kong; the role of industrial policy in Japanese post-war economic performance; economic reforms in China and India; and the 1997 Asian financial crisis.
