Notes Previously coded HYM5420 SynopsisStudents will undertake about eighty hours of work placement in a field relating to Holocaust and Genocide studies. In consultation with the subject co-ordinator, students will work under the supervision of a professional in a museum, an oral testimony project, an international court of justice, a human rights organisation, or an institution involved in the development of curricular materials for Holocaust and Genocide education. A short series of seminars will first introduce students to the pedagogical dimensions of Holocaust and genocide education and the ethical challenges of documenting the experiences of survivors.
