DescriptionThe Graduate Diploma of Journalism is both an entry-level qualification for a professional journalism career and a mid-career course for working journalists seeking to extend their expertise and refresh the intellectual basis of their practice. It has a national and international orientation designed to optimise the contribution graduates will make to their profession using a full range of media technologies. StructureThis course consists of four core units and four elective units at level four. RequirementsStudents complete the following core units:
plus 24 points of elective units from the following: Progression to further studiesStudents who complete this course with a minimum credit average are eligible to apply for entry into course 3932 Master of Journalism. Alternative exit(s)After successful completion of 24 points, students may apply to exit the program with a related graduate certificate. Award(s)Graduate Diploma in Journalism
