DescriptionThis course offers suitably experienced people the opportunity to further develop and upgrade their skills and expertise in the field of tourism and to familiarise themselves with contemporary debates and developments in this field. It also provides a means for those with extensive industry experience who may not have a tertiary qualification to enter the graduate program in tourism at an appropriate level. In particular, the course will introduce students to the tourism industry in Australia today, to some of the key cultural issues in the field and to the changing international framework within which the industry operates. RequirementsStudents complete: Progression to further studiesStudents who complete this course with a minimum credit average are eligible to apply for entry into course 0114 Graduate Diploma in Tourism.
