DescriptionThe sequence provides specialist training in tropical biology with a particular emphasis on techniques and field skills relevant to the study and conservation of tropical ecosystems. The sequence offers a Southeast Asian perspective, enabling students to gain an appreciation for, and understanding of, tropical environments in the region. Students study a range of topics including environmental science, ecology, terrestrial and aquatic tropical biology, and conservation of bioresources.
