DescriptionThe Faculty of Information Technology offers a major sequence in information technology which can be included as a science sequence for course 0050 Bachelor of Science. The sequence focuses on the development of computer-based applications, exploring computer technology, programming environments and system development, with a range of more specialised options at level three. Requirements for honours in information technologyA student may be admitted to candidature for course 3336 Honours degree of Bachelor of Information Technology and Systems (offered by the Faculty of Information Technology) if they have satisfied the requirements of a relevant pass degree (including 0050 Bachelor of Science) and obtained a credit (60 per cent) average or above in all units with a distinction (70 per cent) in third year information technology units.
