DescriptionThe Econometrics major provides an opportunity for students from any discipline to enhance their quantitative skills and be equipped to undertake other rigorous postgraduate coursework programs in business. It offers a wide breadth of knowledge and will provide the quantitative tools and expertise required to carry out regression analysis, forecasting and financial market analysis. Students will also acquire the ability to take responsibility for designing and implementing applied econometric projects and be able to proficiently communicate the results to wider audiences. Such skills are extremely attractive to the business and finance community. UnitsTo complete the Econometrics major in the Graduate Diploma in Economic Studies, students must complete: (a.) Four units (24 points) from the following, with at least one being selected from those marked with an asterisk (*):
