Monash University Handbook 2011 Honours - Area of Study

Students are required to complete 48 points of study comprising a thesis and two coursework units.

The coursework units and the thesis topic are chosen in consultation with the Chinese honours coordinator.

Thesis

Students complete one of the following options:

• ATS4047 Chinese dissertation
• ATS4048 Chinese dissertation part 1 and ATS4049 Chinese dissertation part 2

Coursework units

Students complete the following two units.

• ATS4653 LCL honours workshop: Theory and method in the humanities
• one 12 point coursework unit
