Description

Students are required to complete 48 points of study comprising a thesis and two coursework units.

Coursework units and the thesis topic are chosen in consultation with the Australian Indigenous studies honours coordinator.

Students complete the following two units:

  • ATS4681 CAIS honours dissertation part 1
  • ATS4682 CAIS honours dissertation part 2

Coursework units

Students complete the following two units:

  • ATS4680 Theories and research methodologies in Australian Indigenous studies
  • ATS4683 Interrogating race and power in Australian Indigenous studies

Gippsland, Off-campus

Offered by the School of Humanities, Communications and Social Sciences

Thesis

Students complete the following two units:

  • ATS4805 HUMCASS honours dissertation part 1
  • ATS4806 HUMCASS honours dissertation part 2

Coursework units

Students complete the following two units:

  • ATS4685 Protocols and power in Indigenous studies
  • ATS4807 HUMCASS selected topics in theory and practice
