Monash University Handbook 2011 Honours - Area of Study

Students are required to complete 48 points of study comprising a thesis and two compulsory coursework units.

The thesis topic is chosen in consultation with the Asian studies honours coordinator.

Thesis units

Students complete one of the following options:

• ATS4691 Asian studies dissertation
• ATS4692 Asian studies dissertation part 1 and ATS4693 Asian studies dissertation part 2

Coursework units

Students complete the following two units:

• ATS4653 LCL honours workshop: Theory and method in the humanities
• one 12 point coursework unit
