DescriptionThis course seeks to develop practical skills in social research techniques. It is designed for those with an undergraduate degree in the social sciences who wish to deepen their knowledge of social research techniques and the different kinds of evidence used to investigate contemporary social issues. With the permission of the coordinator, one of these units may be replaced with an approved 12-point, level four elective from the faculties of Arts, Business and Economics, or Information Technology. Progression to further studiesStudents who complete the course with a grade of credit average or above are eligible to apply for entry into course 3098 Master of Applied Social Research.
