Clayton First semester 2008 (Day) SynopsisThere is no formal syllabus. Students are supervised by academic staff to work in an area of mutual interest. The project may also involve lecture units, laboratory work, or reading in experimental, theoretical or applied topics. Current topics include astronomy, medical imaging, x-ray physics, resonance spectroscopies, magnetism, physics education and polymers. Assessment
Log book and written progress reports: 50% Contact hours12 hours per week Prerequisites12 points of level 2 physics, materials science or astronomy, or permission. Students must be have reached level 3 of their degree. Enrolment requires departmental approval. |
